During the development of the integration of NFTs on the getgems.io platform, we have find some limitations of crucial features in the NFT item, such as burning, metadata updates and transfer by the collection owner, preventing us from implementing mechanics that we consider crucial for the future of the Orc Game.
Below, we have listed the positive points that led us to make the decision to integrate NFTs into the EVM layer, and the chosen marketplace was open SEA.
